time for tickling the ivories
Our house has certainly been blessed with the sound of music lately...or as Nate puts it: now we can't move if we wanted to :)
Thanks to a Herculean effort by Grandma & Grandpa Hill we now have a REAL piano in our home! I loved the plug in Clavinova (that they also generously gave us and traded back) but this one is incredible. The sound alone just makes you want to spend hours massaging its keys....ahh...
Because Nate's parents are leaving on a mission to Brazil (awaiting visas now), they are shedding some of the things they don't want to sit useless and we were the lucky recipients of the beautiful piano, hauled in the back of their minivan from Idaho to California. What a surprise!
Here it is being moved in by some wonderful neighbors:
